Protect your investment, please follow these instructions to help with the maintenance of your beautiful new colour.

 

 

* Shampoo your hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner in cool water, no more than 3             times per week to prevent fading.

 

* Avoid excessive exposure to heat styling and sunlight.

 

* No chlorinated water, dandruff, medicated or baby shampoos.

 

* Refrain from washing your hair for 48 hours after a fresh service as the PH of your hair needs to normalize. Washing too soon will cause excessive fading

GREY  COVERAGE/GENERAL COLOUR

​

Permanent Colour is designed for 100% grey coverage and lightening of approximately 2-3 shades. It needs to be retouched every 5-6 weeks. You will have visible regrowth. The tone will fade after 6 weeks.

​

Demi Permanent Colour is designed to blend minimal grey, enhance, tone or add depth to your hair. This type of colour achieves a softer regrowth line. The tone may fade after about 24 shampoos. Darker shades are more permanent.

​

 

Blonde

​

Your service included lightening and toning. This is dehydrating to your hair. Please follow these guidelines:

​

* Use a weekly moisturizing treatment

​

* A violet based shampoo is recommended.

​

* All over platinum blonde hair must be retouched every 4-6 weeks. Surpassing this time may           result in inconsistent results such as yellow banding.

​

* Removing banding is a corrective service that can result in a price increase on your next visit     with  us.

​

FASHION SHADES

​

Understand these products are semi-permanent and last 6-12 shampoos depending on how dark or bright the tone is. Pastel shades can last as little as 4 shampoos. Avoid washing your hair too frequently as this will cause excessive fading. Colour may run in the shower, and can transfer onto towels, clothing and pillowcases.

​

 

 

LIGHT TO DARK

​

Lightened hair  is very porous. Going blonde to dark or red requires a two step process known as filler (replaces missing pigment, like a primer). It may take more than one appointment to achieve your desired results without fading. Be advised, it is difficult to achieve even results on porous hair.

​

 

DARK TO LIGHT

​

All permanent hair colour must be removed with lightener then re-coloured to your desired shade. Depending on how dark the colour build-up is on the hair, this may take several sessions to achieve desired results.

​

 

COLOUR CORRECTIONS

​

Colour corrections are labour intensive and expensive services. It may take several sessions to achieve your target colour. A full consultation is required before any colour correction service.

​

 

OLAPLEX

​

Olaplex is a three step process, so if this service was included in your colour treatment we recommend that you purchase the Hair Perfoector #3 as part of the third step of Olaplex. Use once a week to strengthen hair further or to use a pre-treatmment to a future chemical service. Please see the packaging for further details.
